Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN)

Provides income support of Rs. 6,000 per year to all eligible farmer families across the country, payable in three equal installments of Rs. 2,000 every four months.

Eligibility criteria

  • Must be a small or marginal farmer
  • Must be 18 years or older

How to apply

Application mode: online · Official application portal

  1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in and click "New Farmer Registration" — Registration form opens
  2. Enter Aadhaar number and verify via OTP — Aadhaar verified
  3. Fill in land ownership details and bank account — Form submitted
  4. Verification by state government officials — Approval within 30 days

  • Bank Account Passbook — Active bank account in applicant's name (First page)
  • Land Records — Khata/Khasra/Patta documents (Original or attested)
