Credit-linked subsidy programme for setting up new micro-enterprises. Subsidy of 15-35% on project cost up to Rs. 50 lakh (manufacturing) / Rs. 20 lakh (service).

Eligibility criteria

  • 18+
  • Class VIII pass for projects above Rs. 10 lakh (manufacturing)

How to apply

Application mode: online · Official application portal

  1. Register on PMEGP portal — Account created
  2. Submit application with project proposal — Application reviewed by DLTFC
  3. Get bank loan; subsidy released after milestones — Project funded

  • Aadhaar Card — 12-digit UIDAI identification (Original or photocopy)
  • PAN Card — Permanent Account Number (Original)
  • Bank Account Passbook — Active bank account (First page)
  • Business Plan / DPR — Business proposal (PDF)

Optional

  • Caste Certificate — For SC/ST/OBC (From competent authority)
  • Educational Certificate — Class VIII or above (Original)
