Eligibility criteria

  • Girl child
  • Below 10 years

How to apply

Application mode: offline

  1. Visit post office or authorized bank — Form obtained
  2. Open account with parent/guardian — Account active
  3. Deposit Rs. 250 to Rs. 1.5 lakh annually — Account active until girl turns 21

  • Birth Certificate — Municipal/panchayat issued (Original)
  • Aadhaar Card — 12-digit UIDAI identification (Original or photocopy)
  • Guardian Address Proof — Aadhaar/utility bill (Original)
